Janelle completed a Livestock Breeding Skillset with RuralBiz in August 2026.
She owns Toffeemont Alpacas, an alpaca stud farm and Tasmania’s first premier Agritourism-accredited alpaca-only farm business. With 90 working alpacas, Janelle wanted to strengthen her skills in animal selection and in designing and implementing an effective breeding plan. She thoroughly enjoyed both units and now feels equipped with the knowledge and understanding to pursue her goal of producing premium alpaca fibre for processing.
