Agriculture has always been a passion of mine. I grew up in Central West NSW on a mixed wheat, sheep, and cattle farm before my family moved to the coast in the 1980s to establish an avocado farming enterprise. Although I spent 30 years working as an airline pilot, I remained actively involved in the family farming business throughout my aviation career.
When a medical condition brought my flying career to an end, returning to agriculture was a natural progression. As I became more involved in managing our avocado enterprise and growing my consulting business, I recognised the value of further education and decided to pursue a Diploma in Horticulture.
